Salzgitter AG is a group of companies in the steel industry. It consists of over 100 individual companies and employs more than 25,000 people worldwide. The head office is located in Salzgitter.
The power plant of Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, which has been in operation since the end of the 1930s, has been extensively modernized and expanded under the project name "Kraftwerk 2010". It serves the production of electricity and heat and covers all the needs of the steel mill.
We have planned and built control cabinets for the air-conditioning of boilers, technical and battery rooms, which also ensure the operation of the ventilation systems due to their redundant design even in case of a system failure. The systems are controlled by the automation system SICLIMAT X, which we have conceptualized and implemented with a system partner.
